Legacy Systems

Although not a major part of our work, we often have to work with Legacy systems. These are generally systems which are no longer maintained and are often not fully understood by the organisation which operates them. We can analyse and document these systems. In many cases we can interface with them. More commonly, we use Open Source and Standards-based methodologies to assist a company in updating this legacy base and transferring content to more powerful, more supportable and, often, cheaper, platforms.
